Earth science students researched extreme weather to determine if it is caused by man or by natural events occurring on earth. Once students gathered all their data, they participated in a Socratic Seminar to discuss their ideas. Students had some incredible and thoughtful responses and all were courteous to their classmates, listening intently and offering their own ideas. What perfect timing to discuss and learn about extreme weather!

Civics students explored and discussed the question- Are our rights absolute? Students became an expert on one specific topic, ranging from Eminent Domain, Censorship, Japanese Internment Camps, Phone tapping, Stop and Frisk and Right to Assembly. Students read articles then collaborated with other students to decide which amendment was suppressed or violated. To formally assess students on this topic, students created Mind Map on Absolute Rights.
