Students in Mr. Woods' Advanced Life Science classes were able to learn about Dichotomous Keys and classification by playing the name game. Students were given a name on their back. The name was that of a famous person. Students had to use their knowledge of questioning to determine who was on their back. Not only was this a great game to get our students up and moving, but it allowed students to understand the concept of classification and questioning.
In addition to the name game, students self assessed their knowledge of dichotomous keys and participated in differentiated activities on classification and dichotomous keys.
