Students in Ms. Clark's English classes just finished the novel A Long Walk to Water. To conclude the novel, were able to select an activity that catered to their style of learning: practical, analytical, or creative. Each activity was based off the Essential Question for this unit- to bring awareness to a social issue. Students could research refugee camps and decide if they are necessary, they could design a new way to provide water to under privileged citizens, or research the effects of water contamination on an area. It was so exciting to see the students so enthusiastic about this activity. We will continue with this activity after spring break! We can't wait to see the final products.
